We are not just a cleaning company, but a team dedicated to providing excellent hospitality. Our goal is to provide peace of mind and confidence knowing your property is being maintained and presented to the highest standards. 

Rental Cleaning and Maintenance

Highly dedicated and experienced teams are assigned to your property so they know your home in detail. These teams are trained to pay attention to the details and to provide your guests with an excellent vacation. Their review of your property begins from the moment they pull into your driveway. We want the seamless reservation to begin here. Your vacation rental will be their “home away from home” for a short time. We strive for it to be a 5 star stay for every guest.

Linens

We purchase hotel quality/style linens for all of our properties. We do this because we use industrial machines to wash and dry as well as industrial strength laundry detergent and bleach to ensure the cleanest laundry possible. We have to have this quality of linens so they can endure. This is extremely important in this industry. We have struggled in the past without these machines and are thankful for the difference they make. We never allow cleaning teams to take the linens home to wash and dry. We have heard horror stories of linens being put into cabins that smell like smoke or have animal hair on them. We can assure all owners this will not be the case with Moving Mountains. 

One Call Does it All!

Moving Mountains has all of your needs in one place. One phone call can take care of any cleaning, home repairs, decorating, inventory, restocking etc. We have a team established of pretty much anything you will need. We are not just a cleaning company. We are your “one stop shop” in the Smokies!

Guest Contact/Booking Your Rental

We also provide the option for us to be your guest contact. We will be on call 24/7 for your guests if they have any issues while they are visiting the Smoky Mountains. This can be a huge help for owners that do not want to be on call or if they live in a different time zone or simply do not know the area enough to be a help to their guests. We have owners that have just invested in their property here, but have never actually been here. 

Booking can be done by the owner or sometimes owners just do not have the time. We have several “Super Hosts” that work hard to book properties. This is an excellent option for someone just getting started or an owner that does not have the time to invest in promoting their property. These hosts have great success in keeping the properties booked at max potential as well as this is a very good way to keep those 5 stars rolling in because of the personal touch they bring to each reservation. They work directly with us which takes all of the work off of the owner. If you are looking for a more “hands off” approach this is the way to go!

Inspections

We assign teams to be responsible for each property depending on the location. Each team lead is responsible for making sure the property is maintained to the highest standards. They will be the ones to coordinate if the cabin needs maintenance or to be restocked with amenities. They also take time and date stamped pictures at every clean. This is to ensure each room is presented well and to provide pictures to Airbnb in case of any complaints. This has been a huge help at times for owners to present if a guest has a complaint that is not legitimate. These team leads go behind cleaners that are under them and they do a complete inspection to make sure each property is ready for the next guest. 

Set-ups and Decorating

Setting up and decorating a short term rental is nothing like decorating and setting up a residential home. This is where we come in to help you! All together we have been in this business for over 10 years just in the short term vacation rentals and over 20 years experience in cleaning. We know what needs to be in a vacation rental and what will not last. We know how to stock the cabins with items your guests will need and what is a waste of money. We take all of the stress and worry of setting up your property. Our team can do anything from the complete design from empty to ready to go or we can accept your packages and get them to your property. We will assemble and work with you on your design if you choose to decorate yourself. If you decide you do not have the time or knowledge we will work together to make it perfect!
